Battle of Ubergang About to Start

Well Murdock is on his way and Pete will be here as soon as he finishes work . . . so the game should start about 11 pm tonight (we all have tomorrow off but Murdock needs to be home for stuff) . . . thus we play tonight.

Well they do. I watch and see how my "Tricorne Wars" work with this scenario. They don't know it, but they will be playing "Table Top Teaser #3".

Actually, Murdock just arrived.

At left you see a picture of the key portion of the table.

Quickie results . . .

We played 20 full turns in about six hours. Again we had some fun stuff with the various "fog of war" and "command and control aspects in my rules.

Final result was an agreed draw. Pete never got close to the bridge; and, while Murdock had some chances to truly threaten the town, they were turned back and came to naught.

We had a good time; but it is now about 5:45 am and it is past my bedtime. I'll give a more complete round-up in a day or two . . . and I suspect that there will be some more pictures on either the Murdock or Mieczyslaw blog.

Hi Jeff,

Well, it looks and sounds as though fun was had by all. I really like your table set-up. As out British cohorts might say, It really looks the business!" I especially like your houses. Might you have some photos of the game in progress?

Best Regards,

Stokes

Stokes,

While I'd like to take credit for these buildings (and I have built others), I must confess that I picked these up at a gaming convention flea market some 20 or so years ago.

I do plan on building more, but these were created by another hand.

As for photos, most of the ones I took turned out blurry (my hand wasn't steady enough). A few can be seen in my battle report . . . and Murdock has more on his blog.

Thank you everyone for your comments.
